In 1974 New Look was founded in Thessaloniki, Greece’s second-largest city which has long been a hub of international trade and has a strong tradition in the textile industry. While initially focused on bringing modern knitwear designs to the Greek market through an own-brand fashion label, gradually we moved to specialize in the manufacturing side of knitwear. Since 2005 we have focused solely on being a business-to-business producer and wholesaler of high quality knitwear. This path, and our company’s excellent growth rate, has seen us twice included in Inc. Magazine’s ‘5000 Europe’ list of Europe’s fastest growing businesses.
Our story
We have found this specialization has allowed for greater focus on the elements that our company really excels at and delivers value for clients. Specializing in sourcing the best yarns, developing a highly-skilled creative team and fine-tuning our production processes has made us a reliable and cost-efficient manufacturing partner for European fashion retailers.
With the founding family of New Look heavily involved in the business we also employ more than 100 skilled craftspeople in all facets of production. Whether it’s design, production or distribution we have always believed that having the right people in place and giving them the best tools and technology to succeed is essential to delivering on our mission statement.
Through this investment in expertise and machinery we have been able to create a material supplier network and manufacturing facility that can compete with knitwear manufacturers anywhere in the world.
